The range of cyclones has been designed as separators for intermediate products during pneumatic conveying with a flour mill or other cereal grain milling unit.
They are widely used on account of their efficiency and low running cost.
Between each cyclone and airlock there is a sight feed unit to allow inspection of stock movement.
An airlock is a rotary device for transferring stock between two separate zones at different pressures.
Air flow through the cyclone can be regulated by a valve situated at the air outlet, and the outlet rotating in a horizontal plan can be installed to face any direction throughout 360 º.
The glass of the sight feed unit that allows inspection of stock movement has top and bottom flanges supported by rods.
The air-lock shafts are connected by flexible couplings to compensate for any small misalignment between units.
